The intention

This site is meant to be usable by as many people as possible, including people who use a screen reader, navigate by keyboard, need larger text, or prefer reduced motion.

What has been done

The site is built as plain, structured HTML with one main heading per page and headings in order. Every image carries descriptive alternative text. Text and background colours were measured against the WCAG 2.1 AA contrast minimum of 4.5 to 1 rather than judged by eye. The layout reflows to a single column on small screens without side-to-side scrolling, and the pages are readable and navigable with JavaScript turned off.

Movement on the site is decorative. If your system is set to reduce motion, those effects are switched off.

Known limits

Some documents linked from this site, including the curriculum vitae, are PDFs produced outside it and may not meet the same standard. If a document is difficult to read, ask and the content will be provided in another format.
